The Fed released its final Summary of economic projection for 2024
Here's what the Fed expects for 2025 based on the SEP:
Growth (GDP): of 2.1% up from its previous 2.0% forecast
Unemployment Rate: of 4.3% down from its previous 4.4% forecast
Inflation (PCE): of 2.5% up from its previous 2.1% forecast
For Interest rates:
End 2025: at 3.75%-4% up from prior median estimates of between 3.25%-3.5%
End 2026: at 3.25%-3.50% up from prior median estimates of between 2.75%-3%
End 2027: at 3%-3.25% up from prior median estimates of between 2.75%-3%
