If you’ve been following me lately, you know I’ve been talking a lot about the Space and Defense industries.

So when Starfighters Space offered to fly me out to the Kennedy Space Center to see what they’re working on, I went. I met the team, watched a live demo, and got a front-row look at a company trying to break into the satellite launch market

Starfighters owns and operates the only privately held fleet of F-104 Starfighter supersonic jets. These jets are one of the few planes that have the capability of going as fast as Mach 2. Starfighters is aiming to use these supersonic jets to launch small satellites into space and fill a gap in the market left by SpaceX, focusing on the big satellites
